Position : Lead Hand

Department: Operations warehouse

Location: 6175 Edwards Blvd.

Reporting to: Team Leader

Shifts:

Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm or 4:30pm to 3:00am

Friday to Sunday: 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for ensuring efficient use of staff in a manner supportive of operational SLAs and KPIs
  • Support training of staff and ensure adherence to SOPs
  • Report and assist in the resolution of any employee concerns
  • Assist in the planning of manpower and scheduling of work to meet customer requirements
  • Assist in identifying areas of concern impacting production and/or areas for potential improvements
  • Ensure 100% adherence to productivity and quality standards and account specific standard operating procedures
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety practices and ensure employees are following all related policies and procedures
  • Participate in decision-making processes involving warehouse issues
  • Direct staff to support day to day work, projects, and special assignments
  • Support inventory control by ensuring strict adherence to SOPs
  • Knowledgeable on all SOPs as related to outbound functions
  • Processes include but are not limited to pick, pick to HU, packing and shipping

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a fast-paced, logistics environment, ideally in a lead hand role
  • Previous experience with RF technology
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making
  • Strong excel skills
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP
