Shift: Days – 830 AM to 530 PM

Role: This position is responsible for acting as primary contact for all customer service inquiries (internal and external). This role also produces various daily, weekly and monthly reports and follows up on customer orders to ensure service level agreements are met or exceeded. The successful candidate is a highly motivated, self-directed individual capable of multi-tasking with a high level of personal and professional ethics.

Key Responsibilities include:

  •  Work with the clients to develop strong relationships that ensure customer requirements are consistently met
  •  Enter data, dispatch, and follow up on customer orders to ensure service level agreements are met or exceeded
  •  Work proactively with customers and warehouse team members to add value to their supply chain by changing processes where applicable
  •  Attend and facilitate conference calls with the customer
  •  Maintain open, clear communication between office and warehouse team members
  •  Issue replenishment requests to the floor
  •  Act as primary contact point for all customer service inquiries
  •  Produce daily reports for all accounts
  •  Remain up-to-date with all Standard Operating Procedures, both office and warehouse
  •  Coordinate outbound transportation appointments with various carriers to support delivery appointments
  •  Support management in all aspects of warehousing, customer service, and transportation
  •  Support other customer service representatives in the group
  •  Maintain all records in an organized system
  •  Willing to work flexible working hours as and when required
  •  Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  •  Previous customer service experience in a high-paced environment, preferably in a third party logistics (3PL) environment
  •  Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  •  Extremely organized individual, capable of multi-tasking and remaining calm under stressful situations
  •  Strong communicator with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment and capable of working effectively with all levels within the organization, from warehouse team member to senior management
  •  Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
  •  Proven ability to create, manage and maintain strong customer relationships
  •  Good working knowledge of WMS systems (SAP) in an RF environment
  •  Ability to function in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  •  Positive attitude, professional demeanor, flexible and adaptable, high energy and self-motivated
