Salary: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year


Role: The Inventory Control Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of inventory counters and coordinating various aspects related to inventory accuracy and control.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead, support and provide coaching to the team of inventory counters

• Create and coordinate daily cycle counts to ensure all locations are counted according to established targets

• Investigate discrepancies to determine root cause and recommend corrective action

• Recommend process improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency. This will require flexibility to attend alternate shifts

• Actively participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives

• Communicate daily with external and internal clients and provide them with the required assistance to resolve inventory concerns

• Coordinate and facilitate vendor site visits, assisting with all material allocations

• This will require flexibility to attend alternate shifts

• Coordinate and Manage all physical inventories requested by client

• Coordinate the quarantine of items

• Reporting inventory accuracy and discrepancies

The Successful Candidate Will Possess:

• Extremely detail oriented and proven investigation skills

• Customer focused communicator with exceptional English communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Experienced people leader in a unionize work environment

• Proven ability to analyze, plan, organize and prioritize effectively

• Proficiency using Microsoft office applications

• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment required

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years proven experience in inventory control in a 3PL environment

• Post-secondary education and/or a combination of relevant experience and education

• Previous experience working in logistics environment

• Strong working knowledge of SAP warehouse management system

Shift Timing: Monday to Friday 5am to 1pm.
