SCI Adds New Technology Capabilities.

SCI has partnered with Transact Technologies to offer additional solutions within their Enhanced Technical Services. Transact technologies is a global leader in software-driven technology and printing solutions for high-growth markets.

SCI offers a breadth of enhanced technical services across Canada, with 13 configuration centers and 35+ field stocking locations. Their technical services solutions include new equipment deployment and installation, technology upgrades, swap / exchanges, equipment configuration, staged roll-outs, and repairs. In addition, they also offer reverse logistics services such as asset verification, data removal, inspection and disinfection. As a leading and unique tech service provider, SCI is constantly looking for ways to expand its broad spectrum of high quality services.

Our Technology Solutions Team

SCI is proud to have a team of more than 200 certified technicians servicing all our clients who are expertly trained to efficiently perform technical services, with the objective of minimizing downtime and loss of productivity. SCI technicians specialize in handling OEM warranty repair and out of warranty repair products. The recent Transact partnership has added further capabilities to SCI’s expert technicians, who are now certified to work on TransAct receipt printers.

In order to ensure every asset that comes through our facilities works together flawlessly, SCI understands that every piece must be thoroughly inspected and tested. In 2019 SCI announced the launch of its newly updated Enhanced Technical Services facility in Mississauga, Ontario. “The upgraded space reflects SCI’s continued investment in our technical capabilities and aligns with the company’s goals to deliver exceptional customer service combined with efficient solutions” says Peter Collier, VP Technology.

Our Facility

The highly-secured facility offers 90 technician workbenches and a separate team of 3e level support to field technicians, providing customers with full repair services to a wide range of products from Point of Sale devices, PC’s, laptops scanners and copiers to medical diagnosis devices, servers, automated kiosks, automatic tellers and digital displays.
